Identity

The Heritage Gallery at Saka Museum, Ayana Resort Jimbaran, carries the theme of Panca Maha Bhuta — the Five Great Elements: Pertiwi (Earth), Apah (Water), Teja (Fire), Bayu (Air), and Akasa (Ether).

In Balinese belief, these are not just symbols, but living forces that shape how we move, feel, and connect. The gallery was created in collaboration with Arafat & Ida Bagus Gandiwa.

Guided by Tri Angga and Tri Loka, the gallery unfolds in three sections:

1. Information Space — a place of knowledge
2. Main Gallery — an eye-opening journey
3. Akasa — a sacred, contemplative space

Together with curators Bruce W. Carpenter & James Bennett, our team contributed architectural design (223 sqm) and visual communication design, shaping a space that honors heritage while inviting new stories to unfold.
